Zac Efron’s ‘Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil And Vile’ is coming to Netflix!

Let’s be real, we’re all obsessed with murder mysteries. So the release of Zac Efron’s new movie Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile where he portrays serial killer Ted Bundy is getting us very excited.

Especially because a docuseries of Ted’s crimes has just been released on Netflix, titled Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes.

But guess what! Netflix has also acquired the rights to Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile.

The Hollywood Reporter revealed the news, reporting that Extremely Wicked‘s Sundance success has led to everyone scrambling to attain the movie rights.

But the streaming giant Netflix came out on top! Going against STX and Lionsgate, Netflix won on a $9 million deal. 

Extremely Wicked will head for a theatrical release later this year, before finding its home on Netflix for ALL of us to stream!

The movie tells the story of Ted from the perspective of his girlfriend Elizabeth Kloepfer (Lily Collins) as she struggles to accept her partner’s crimes and demonic nature.

The movie is directed by Joe Berlinger, who also the man behind The Ted Bundy Tapes.

It’s been thirty years since Ted was executed for confessing to over 30 murders between the years 1974 and 1978.
