With his iconic yet never functioning jeep, his trusty old baseball bat and his whip-smart one-liners; Stiles Stilinski pretty much carried Teen Wolf on his skinny, defenceless back.

He was one of the very – and we put an emphasis on the very – few to remain human for the duration of the supernatural series, save for this short stint as Void Stiles.
Despite never having the upper hand when facing all the supernatural threats that faced Beacon Hills, there’s no denying Stiles held his own within the pack.
Of course, bringing the character to life was none other than Dylan O’Brien, who shot to fame after the show quickly gained traction amongst fans.
It was those loyal fans who were overjoyed when they found out that their beloved show was getting its own movie, titled Teen Wolf: The Movie.
Although, their excitement was slightly dimmed when Dylan confirmed everyone’s worst fear, that he won’t be appearing in the revival movie.
Explaining why he’s not joining Paramount Plus’ upcoming film revival of the hit television series, Dylan told Variety that it was “a difficult decision,” and “a lot went into it.”
“The show couldn’t be more dear to me,” he said of Teen Wolf. “It was the first thing I ever did I and so many people there are extremely dear to me.”
He went on to explain that the movie was something he was trying to make work, but “it all happened very fast”.
“We didn’t really know that it was happening and they kind of just threw it at us a little bit, which is fine because we all love the show. We were trying to figure it out,” he said.
He added: “Ultimately, I just decided it was left in a really good place for me and I still want to leave it there.
“I wish them well and I’m going to watch it the first night it comes out. I hope it f**king kicks ass, but I’m not going to be in it.”
While Dylan won’t be in Teen Wolf: The Movie, fans will be pleased to know that a number of the original cast have confirmed they will be joining the revival.
Members of the original main cast including Tyler Posey, Holland Roden, Crystal Reed, Colton Haynes, and many more will be reprising their roles for the revival film, which is expected to premiere later in 2022.
The official film synopsis also gave us an idea of what we can expect from the upcoming movie, where a “terrifying evil has emerged” in Beacon Hills.
“Only a Werewolf like Scott McCall, no longer a teenager yet still an Alpha, can gather both new allies and reunite trusted friends to fight back against what could be the most powerful and deadliest enemy they’ve ever faced.”
