Louis Tomlinson, heard of him? Of Course you have. He’s the one and only smol sassy bean from One Direction and he’s just not getting the love and respect he deserves, and honestly, it keeps me up at night.
For too long media outlets around the world have been getting away with talking SMACK about Louis, focusing on dodgy gossip and drama, and simply put, it just won’t do.
He is NOT the ‘other one’ in the band. He is NOT a problematic human. He does NOT weaponise his fans and he certainty doesn’t have to apologise for anything. (Fight me @ websites who shade Louis.)
He is seriously talented, kind and is the sassy glue that kept 1D together.
We have compiled a list of reasons why Louis deserves better, so get ready to be educated.
He wrote ALL of 1D’s best bops
“Home”, “Strong”, “Fireproof”, “Alive”, “Love You Goodbye”, and “NO CONTROL” are the type of songs that clear your skin, improve your grades and give you glossy hair. Who wrote these One Direction anthems? The Tommo, of course.
We are not worthy of his solo songs
Don’t you dare make us choose a favourite LT solo track, because it’s impossible. Try to listen to “Back to You” and not tap your foot. Attempt listening to “Just Like You” and not cry tears of realness. Oh my god and don’t even get us started on “Miss You”, because that bop made us ALL dance on tables. Louis Tomlinson’s first album is due this year the world will never be the same.
An ass we wish we had
Zayn may have left the band but you know what doesn’t quit? Louis’ ass. It’s a little known fact the peach Emoji was inspired by Louis’ behind. He’s got one of the best butts out there; the world knows it, you know it, and even he knows it.
He’s the best to his fans
There’s no denying the fact that all members of 1D have great relationships with their fans, but Louis’ connection with his fans are on another level. He regularly has conversations with fans on Twitter, and it’s not like a typical celeb-to-fan convo. There’s a lols, banter, and he even unleashes some of his signature sass at times. He looks like a model without even trying
Louis Tomlinson could literally be drinking a glass of milk and make it #fashion. Oh wait… he did that.
He could also wear a shell suit and make it hot. Oh yeah… he did that too.
King of being realistic
Look, if needed we will sell valuable possessions if it means affording a ticket to a Louis meet and greet. But we won’t have to. Normally meet and greet tickets with your faves are $$$, but Louis has promised on Twitter that he’s going to be making it possible for ALL fans. A king™.
He’s the best brother
Unless you’re a stan, you may not be aware that Louis’ has five younger sisters (Lottie, Félicité, Daisy, Phoebe, Doris), and a baby brother (Ernest). When he’s not in LA, he’s back home spending time with his family, buying presents for his sisters and just look at this damn text convo with his lil sister. An angel™.
Sass master from Doncaster
If a celeb had an upbringing that wasn’t particularly glam, they normally like to leave that part of their life behind. Not my son. Louis grew up in Doncaster which isn’t the flashiest of towns, and he couldn’t be prouder. He even went back to Doncaster to film his music video for “Back To You”. If that isn’t love then idk what is.
His triumphant X Factor performance
Louis was scheduled to perform his bop “Just Hold On” on the X Factor in December 2016, but a few days before the show his mum Jay tragically passed away. Despite all the pain he was going through, Louis put on a brave face and performed for his fans, giving one of the GREATEST and most CONFIDENT performances of his career in honour of his mum.
King of giving back
Most celebs will make sure everyone knows when they’ve done something charitable, but not Louis. He literally does so much for others and never even mentions it. Just to name a few examples, last Christmas Louis bought presents for children from struggling families. In January this year Louis paid for a young fan’s $10k medical bills, and a few years ago in-between 1D tours, he organised a charity ball for young cancer patients and raised over $7 MILLION. Nothing but respect for MY president.
He will always side with his fans
For all times the press and the trolls came @ the fans regarding whatever sh*tstorm was going down, Louis has ALWAYS been on his fans’ side. He doesn’t care about ~public opinion~. He protecc, he attacc, but more importantly, he got our bacc.
Can you imagine being someone who doesn’t see Louis for the angel that he is? Can’t relate.
