If you remember getting scared shitless at the 2017 remake of IT, then you’re about to go through it allllll over again.
IT: Chapter 2 will focus on the same story-line, 27 years later (that’s when Pennywise comes out of hiding to terrorise everyone).
This time ’round, however, it’s going to be focused on the main kids as ADULTS.
So naturally, we need to know who TF is going to play these adults. The kids did such a wonderful job in the first installation, so some fantastic casting needed to go down.
And boy it did.
Jessica Chastain is officially Beverly Marsh
It was reported in Feb by Variety that that Jessica Chastain would play adult Beverly. Young Beverly was played by Sophia Lillis in the first film.
Jay Ryan is officially Ben Hanscom
HELLOOOOO GLOW UP! On May 23rd, Jay Ryan was announced as the actor who will play Ben Hascom. Jeremy Ray Taylor played Ben as a kid.

James McAvoy might play Bill Denbrough
In April, James McAvoy was reportedly in negotiations to play Bill Denbrough, leader of the Losers Club. Young Bill was played in the first film by Jaeden Lieberher.
Bill Hader might play Richie Tozier
Funny man and ugly/hot Bill Hader has been in talks to play adult Richie Tozier, who was played first by our Stranger Things fave Finn Wolfhard.
Andy Bean will play Stanley Uris
It: Chapter 2 announced in May that Andy Bean will take on the role of Stanley Uris, which was first played by Wyatt Oleff.
James Ransone is playing Eddie Kaspbrak
James Ransone will be playing the role of Eddie Kaspbrak. Jack Dylan Grazer portrayed him in the first film and was 11/10 our fave.
Mike Hanlon’s adult actor has yet to be decided!
The character of Mike Hanlon, who was first played by Chosen Jacobs, is yet to be cast.
Chosen, however, wants Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman to play his adult counterpart. We’re be so here for that casting. Dayum.
