Venom Trailer Roasted

It’s the movie real Marvel fans have been DYING for: Venom, Spider Man’s enemy.

Sony has had the movie in development for over a decade, so now that filming has finally wrapped… fans expected a lot out of the first trailer.

But unfortunately, they didn’t get what they came for.

There is no Venom in the trailer. At all.

We see Tom Hardy, who is playing Venom, very briefly as his human form of Eddie Brock, but no Venom. And fans are pissed.

I get that Sony either doesn't want to or can't show much, but if you're gonna drop a trailer full of nothing you have to have at least ONE shot that makes me go "Whoa! You have my attention."

Apparently, the CGI for Venom’s character hasn’t been ready, which is why we can’t see him in the trailer. And, the movie isn’t set for release until October anyway, so the teaser has been released suuuper early.

According to Tom Hardy, they only just finished shooting about a week ago!

Regardless, Marvel will get the movie right. They always do, and we’re super keen for it.
