V will be starring alongside British actor Josh Whitehouse, who will be playing a “cursed medieval knight” who Vanessa’s character “must help return to his time.”

We couldn’t have dreamed of a better plot.

We’d like to take a moment to really appreciate these first look photos in all their Christmassy glory because Vanessa’s festive red dress and matching lippy coupled with Chrissy lights and an abundance of fake snow has just prematurely awakened Mariah Carey from her slumber.

Predictably, Twitter is losing their minds over the new flick.

If you feel like prepping yourself for A Knight Before Christmas, we highly recommend watching equally delightful Netflix Christmas movie The Princess Switch, which follows Stacy (Vanessa) being pushed into a royal baking competition.

While Stacy is heading to compete for Master Chef Belgravia she runs into Margaret the Duchess of Montenaro (also Vanessa), who is currently in town to meet her hot Prince fiancé. The two chicks then decide to switch lives for two days.

The whole thing gives off strong Lizzie Mcguire The movie vibes except it’s about royalty and Paolo has been left back in Italy (good riddance).
