Feeling a little nostalgic for Harry Potter? Well, you’re not the only one. Between the revival of videos that are basically Harry Potter fanfiction on TikTok and the surging in popularity of Twilight, it seems like our nostalgic favourites are truly back in 2020. Now, Draco Malfoy himself has hopped on the trend. In a series of super cute Instagram posts, Harry Potter star Tom Felton has shared some never-before-seen pictures of the cast as they were shooting the first movie. All the way back in 2001. (Wow, time really flies.)
The 33-year-old actor shared the throwback pictures of himself, Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe, and Josh Herdman, who respectively played Draco, Harry, Hermione and Goyle in the series. The caption, however, came from a fan, “When your parents make you hang out with the neighbours kids,” he wrote, crediting a user for the line and Herdman for the picture itself.
First of all, look at this film photo! And it’s even the retro kind your parents used to use, as opposed to current film hoes on Instagram with their 35mm Pentax obsessions! (No shade, we’d like one too.)
Felton also shared another adorable throwback picture of himself with Herdman and Devon Murray, aka Seamus, the young wizard who couldn’t help but blow everything up. We’re dying at the attempted ‘bunny ears’ Murray’s trying to pull and the Wu-Tang hoodie. “In between scenes, 2001,” Felton captioned the image.
Felton might be most famous for his appearances in the Harry Potter films, but he’s had a bunch of notable roles since then, including appearances in The Flash.
However, we’re most amused by his ventures on TikTok, which now includes making reaction videos to all those horny Draco TikToks. Enjoy swiping through the selection below!
