In case you missed it, Girlfriend heartthrob Timothée Chalamet hosted Saturday Night Live! last weekend. Over the near hour-long program, Chalamet appeared in a variety of skits as a young child, a cowboy who loves his tiny horse, a rapper—Aka the return of Lil Timmy Tim—and, wait for it, Harry Styles.
You read that right, Laurie from Little Women, Dune star and favourite American cutie cosplayed as our favourite cardigan-wearing, fashion-loving British cutie.
SNL really said, to the Sue Sylvester meme, “I’m going to make a SNL skit that is so catered to your interests.”
In the skit that we can’t stop thinking about, SNL cast member Ego Nwodim played the legendary singer Dionne Warwick on the premiere of her new talk show. On the show, the not real Warwick tweeted at Chance The Rapper, “Hi, @chancetherapper. If you are very obviously a rapper why did you put it in your stage name?” Then, she brought on her first guest: Timothée Chalamet as Harry Styles.
To immerse himself completely, Chalamet sported a look that could only be described as Styles-core. We’re talking, a soft lace top, layered with a striped woolly jumper. He finished the look with a pair of dark brown pants, light brown wool socks and a pair of brown loafers. Talk about a Monochromatic King. In true Harry Styles… style, Chalamet topped it all off with a pair of signet rings—one on one hand and three on the other all lined up in a row.
