We’re already two episodes in to Pretty Little Liars‘ Season 7B and it’s hard not to think about how it’s about be over FOREVER. But it sounds like this might not actually be the end!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, showrunner I. Marlene King has once again confirmed that she wants to return to the PLL world “at some point in time.”
Then Sasha Pieterse teased: “Rosewood goes on, there’s always more to say.”
And as if that wasn’t enough to give us hope for the future, Shay Mitchell mentioned how Sex and the City came back with not one but TWO movies after the series ended.
“Sex and the City had two movies, so you never say never, right?” she said. “It would absolutely be nice to see the PLLs again in five years, but I’ll be catching up with them sooner than that.”
“We joke around about it being like SATC, ‘Let’s just put the PLLs in Dubai and see what happens!'” Troian Bellisario added.
“But, how would you bring them back together?,” she continued. “Once this mystery is done, it all depends on what the story would be. Would it just be about what they’re doing in life and if that were the case, some time would have to pass and it would be very different.”
Well, we’re happy with very different, as long as this doesn’t have to be the end. Who’s keen for a PLL movie… or two??
