It’s that time of the year fam! Nominations for the 2019 Grammy Awards have been announced, and boy are the fandoms SHOOK!
Rappers like Drake and Kendrick Lamar are leading this year’s nominations in the biggest four categories, which are usually Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Album of the Year and Best New Artist.
Kendrick received eight nominations while Drake received seven.
But the biggest shock is that two of the biggest female artists have been snubbed! Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift have not picked up many nominations at all, and their fans are seriously mad.
Tay Tay who usually takes home gold has only one nomination for Best Vocal Album with Reputation, and Ariana has two nominations – Best Vocal Album for Sweetener and Best Pop Solo Performance for “God Is A Woman”.
