The sequel for Netflix’s The Kissing Booth is underway and two brand new cast members have been added to the lineup!
Actors Maisie Richardson-Sellers and Taylor Perez have joined the cast, with Maisie playing a potential love interest for Noah (Jacob Elordi) and Taylor filling a similar role for Elle (Joey King).
Netflix announced the news via Twitter, writing: “The Kissing Booth 2 has added a pair of cast members: #LegendsOfTomorrow alum @maisie_rs will play a seemingly-perfect college girl who Noah grows close to while Taylor Perez will play Marco, a new classmate who Elle simultaneously develops a close friendship with.”
Ooooo!
Maisie has previously appeared in Legends of Tomorrow, The Originals and even had a role in Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens, while Taylor had had roles in iCarly, Suburgatory and Awkward.
The news of these new additions confirms that Elle and Noah will face issues in their long-distance relationship as Noah navigates college life.
We’re also quietly stoked that this also confirms that Jacob Elordi will be reprising his role as Noah as he hasn’t appeared in any of the sequel’s promo vids thus far.
Yay!
