Calling all Swifties! Your fave country-pop artist Taylor Swift just dropped a new live concert film for us to watch on Disney Plus.
City of Lover is a one-hour-long special concert film featuring a Taylor Swift performance in Paris at the L’Olympia Theater late last year. It marks the first and only time Tay-Tay has ever performed songs from her Lover album live, which was released in 2019. Y’know, after the whole Covid-19 pandemic put a stop on her Lover Fest tour in the U.S. and Brazil this year.
Following the cancellation of her upcoming 2020 Lover Fest, this is the best next thing for all us Swifties.
All US and Brazil gigs will be rescheduled to 2021 and, in the meantime, us Aussies and people around the world can enjoy a special City of Lover show featuring “Cornelia Street,” “London Boy,” “It’s Nice To Have A Friend” and “Lover,” all from the comfort of our self-isolating homes.
“I’m so sad I won’t be able to see you guys in concert this year, but I know this is the right decision,” she wrote on Twitter. “Please, please stay healthy and safe.”
“I’ll see you on stage as soon as I can but right now what’s important is committing to this quarantine, for the sake of all of us.”
Taylor Swift’s City of Lover concert is available to stream on Disney Plus.
