You might want to sit down for this Stranger Things fans because the show might be coming to an end very soon!

While the series is arguably one of Netflix’s biggest shows ever, the cast has previously shared that the show had only just a few seasons left in its tank.
According to a new report by We Got This Covered its upcoming fourth season will be the sci-fi series last after receiving word from a “very reliable source.”
“Evidently, the original idea was to end the show after five seasons, but that seems to have been scrapped as so the whole ‘kids vs evil’ hook can stay ‘kids vs evil’ and not ‘young adults vs evil’ if you know what I mean” shared the publication.
At this point, it is just a rumour though so lets hope Netflix soon confirms if season four is indeed the last time we get to see the adventures of Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and co. stop the Upside Down from taking over Hawkins.
David Harbour, who plays Hopper did also hint at the show’s ending in an interview with CNET.
He shared, “I feel very proud of that because we’re not going to get sort of lost in our story and leave these strands. We’re going to tie things up, like Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi have an arc to them; I think Stranger Things, be it Season Four or Season Five, has an arc to it that I understand.”
