This New ‘Stranger Things’ Theory Will Blow Your Socks Off

WHAT!
Netflix

Stranger Things has officially been out for like, forever now, so as expected… fans have their theories.

This one (from BuzzFeed) surrounds Chief Hopper, Hawkins lab, and his daughter Sara who tragically passed away.

So, to kick it off, we’re given this scene from the finale of season 2, when Hopper found Dr. Owens in a stairwell of Hawkins lab. Take note of the railing.

.

Now hold that thought, and bring your mind back to season one, when Hopper was crying in a stairwell after his daughter died.

It was first noted by Insider that the handrail in both scenes could be identical.

You can see in the finale of season two when Hopper is coming down the stairway (to then find Dr. Owens) that it really could be the same place, meaning… did his daughter Sara die in Hawkins lab????

We know that Hawkins lab has had a very shady past, and if Sara was sick, why wasn’t she in a regular hospital?

It’s just been assumed in the past that Sara passed away from cancer, because of her hair loss… but we’ve never actually been told.

.

Was she part of the project MKUltra program that Eleven and Eight were part of? When Eleven was a child, she escaped and had a buzz cut.

David Harbour who plays Hopper has even spoken about this theory before, while talking to Insider.

“Yes, it is the same location. So that’s interesting. Or it’s a similar location,” he revealed.

And it gets even weirder fam.

“There’s actually another thing you’ll notice which is that there’s a stuffed animal lion that appears in Eleven’s room when he breaks into the lab and finds that room, and it also appears in Castle Byers, and it also appears on Sara’s lap,” David continued.

“There is a connection there perhaps that we may go into further down the line,” David continued. “These are little things that highlight mysteries that I don’t want to give too much away from but I don’t think anything is done randomly in this show. These things (are) something that will pay off in some way.”
