Dove Cameron and Sofia Carson just gatecrashed a high school theatre club’s ‘Descendants’ zoom call

The two stars watched the teen cast and crew perform Descendants 2's "Space Between"

Descendants stars Dove Cameron and Sofia Carson just zoom bombed the cast of a high school production of Disney’s Descendants: The Musical, and it was extremely cute.

This year, the theatre class of Leavenworth High in Kansas began the first ever musical production of the popular Disney film franchise. In the musical, teens Haley and NaMari perform “Space Between,” a song originally performed in Descendants 2 by Cameron and Carson.

So, when their teacher asked them if they could sing a bit of the song in a catch up zoom call shortly before the Disney stars make their adorable cameo, the pair and everyone else in the call quickly began to lose it.

“I’m scrolling through every face here and this is so special,” Cameron told the teen cast and crew of Disney’s Descendants: The Musical. “I’m looking at every single one of you and I’m finding this to be like the most incredible—I mean this has made my week, my month.

“We’re all on the same side at the theatre. You have your family, you have your friends, and then a cast is something different.”

“It’s been a really beautiful thing to see that even though we’ve never been more physically isolated, we’ve also in an incredible way have never been more connected,” added Carson. “Look at us, when would we have been able to do this? You know, all of us here in this moment.”

“And we actually got to see parts of what you guys created for the Descendants musical, and it was really phenomenal. It really blew us away.”

Carson recently starred in Netflix’s Feel The Beat
