For weeks, eagle-eyed fans were convinced Selena Gomez was gearing up to release new music after she was spotted several times leaving the studio in Los Angeles.
And their instincts were right! The pop star has dropped a brand new single, and it’s very different from her usual mellow tunes.
Titled “Just Can’t Get Enough” her latest work— which features J Balvin and was produced by Benny Blanco and Tainy— is an upbeat bop which has an infectious chorus! Although the lyrics are simple and the tempo is relaxed, it’s the kind of song that grows on you, and considering her track record, will no doubt skyrocket to number one!
Since her last LP Revival— which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200— the songstress has been collaborating with a number of artists to produce some very well rounded tracks! In 2016, Gomez featured in Charlie Puth’s “We Don’t Talk Anymore” (2016), Kygo’s “It Ain’t Me” (2017), Marshmello’s “Wolves” (2017) and DJ Snake’s “Taki Taki” (2018). She’s also dropped a few of her own singles including “Bad Liar” and “Fetish.”
Although it’s been months since she’s released new music, the star has been busy working on other projects and was recently praised for her role in the hit film Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation. Gomez has also faced a number of health complications and was forced to undergo a kidney transplant in 2017 after her lifelong battle with lupus.
