In recent weeks Ruby Rose has suffered from several health setbacks, and now the star has revealed she’s added one more to the list.
The Orange Is The New Black star took to her Instagram to reveal she was suffering an allergic reaction.
The 31-year-old posted an image of herself slumped over a toilet, revealing she had an adverse reaction to the Codeine prescribed to her for her back pain.
Despite the serious situation, Rose saw the humour in the situation, captioning the photo: ‘Ever found out you’re allergic to Codine (sic) in an entirely pink room… with pink walls, pink stairs, pink doors, all while you’re 4 hours from home neither… but that would really suck.’
The Pitch Perfect 3 star also revealed this week that she had undergone a spinal surgery.
Rose shared a series of ‘progress’ snaps to social media on Monday while recuperating from the operation.
“So… for the past few years (decade) I’ve been dealing with a spine issue,” Ruby tweeted to her 1.34 million Twitter followers.
“I am now recovering from a back procedure, but I do need to stay active, so before I get seen with my cane and wheelchair in public, I’d rather put it out there that I’m fine and going to be fine.”
