Once upon a time, he famously said how his body odour “gets to the point where even I can’t stand the air around me. I don’t know, my personal hygiene – it’s so disgusting.”
Co-stars even told how they could smell him before they could see him.
And as for leading ladies needing to pucker-up for a scene with Rob, well, thank goodness they pay them the big bucks.
Years after being described by someone as smelling like a person “less fortunate”, Rob says his natural perfume has developed into something less pong.
“Lots of people tell me I smell like a crayon,” he told Allure, after he was quizzed about his scent.
He added, “Like I’m embalmed.”
Hmm.
As for what Rob himself finds “revolting” to smell, he says “I don’t really mind grimy stuff. I love the smell of things people really hate, but burning hair is revolting.”
