With TV shows being canned left and right, we can’t help but feel a tad nervous for our faves.
But fans of Riverdale need not worry ‘coz this show is on ~*fire*~ RN!
Season two of the hit Netflix series aired this week and according to our research, the premiere ep scored DOUBLE the amount of viewers as the first.
The first ep scored 2.3 million same-day viewers which is an INCREDIBLE feat.
They even broken a record as it was the best ratings for a teen drama on any telecast since an episode of The Vampire Diaries back in 2012 which was a whole five years ago!
It also tied or beat every show on ABC, CBS, or NBC that night, finishing behind only Fox’s Empire and Star.
As the longevity of TV shows is mostly based on viewership, it looks like our fave gang is here to slay!
