Regina George is probably one of the most iconic villains of all time.
Her character in Mean Girls, played by the gorgeous Rachel McAdams, will go down in history of one of the greats. We mean, she did give us some of the best quotes of all time.
But how does Rachel feel about her so many years on?
Talking to the New York Times, Rachel admitted that Regina George has followed her around, ever since playing her.
“Does Regina George haunt me every day? She does have that quality,” she admitted.
However, she adores her and is forever grateful for the role that she had in the movie.
“I have to thank Regina George for giving me some longevity. I’m forever grateful to Tina Fey and Mark Waters. I remember when I read [the script for Mean Girls], I called my agent right away and said, ‘I will play any part in this, please, please, please.’ I was at the beginning of my career, and it was a lofty thing out there, that I really, really, really wanted to do. I’m always looking for larger-than-life characters, which is probably why I like playing villains. They get away with so much.”
#ICONIC.
Now who wants to go home and watch Mean Girls?
