But the most exciting news about this is that there will finally be an emoji commemorating your period.

The Global Girl’s Rights Charity Plan International UK ran a survey in 2017 which found that girls and women are still feeling ashamed for having their period.
What a joke!
It was so bad that the stigma around periods was affecting their ability to talk to friends and family about it.
Periods are a completely normal way of life, so it’s about time we get some real representation of them on something as regular as emojis.
