WATCH: Netflix confirms ‘YOU’ season 3

Netflix has officially confirmed a third season of the show, starring Penn Badgley (Joe Goldberg) and Victoria Pedretti (Love Quinn).

According to Deadline, Netflix has ordered another ten episodes to make up the third season.

While it’s not surprising that the third season has been commissioned, it’s now allowing the internet to continue on its journey of theories about what we can expect.

Unfortunately, we will have to wait until 2021 for the show to return, but if that means they’re taking time to make it extra good, then we’re gucci, we’d wait all the time in the world to find out WTF Joe is up to.

What we do know is that Penn and Victoria will reprise their roles, and executive producers Sera Gamble and Greg Berlanti are coming back.

Now it’s time for us all to get to work on trying to figure out WHO Joe’s mysterious neighbour is. In the final scene of season 2, we see Joe cast his eyes on his neighbor, who instantly becomes his new victim/obsession.

“This is just the beginning because this is where I had to be, exactly where I had to be to meet you,” Joe creepily narrates as he peeps on the woman next door.

“There you were, with your books and your sunshine. So close, but worlds away. I will figure out a way, a way to get to you. See you soon, neighbour.”

While we don’t know who the woman is, a large majority of the internet believes that it’s actually Joe’s mother – not a new love interest.

Either way, we’re terrified for her, especially since Joe and Love are producing the spawn of satan.
