Girlfriend fave Miley Cyrus just covered multi-Grammy-award-winning teen Billie Eilish’s latest single and we’re absolutely in love with it.

Overnight, the “Midnight Sky” singer appeared on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge series and performed her own rendition of Eilish’s “My Future.” And, not only is it so, so good, but she practically made it her own song with her distinct vocals and a more country-rock tone.

For the performance, Cyrus wore a black sequinned mini dress and sheer tights, her classic 2020 quarantine mullet (FYI, it’s a total trend) and a whole bunch of silver jewellery—a pair of silver chain belts with crosses, bangle bracelets, rings and a pair of drop earrings. To top the rock look off, she matched the outfit with a bold wing and bright red lippy.

Oh, and ofc, her bandmates were seen in the background vibing and wearing appropriate face masks.

Eilish shared the video over on her Instagram Story, overwhelmed with happy tears and in love with the former Disney star’s cover.

Billie Eilish was absolutely in

Prior to performing Eilish’s “my future,” the 27-year-old appeared on the show over the years to perform her own takes on Lana Del Ray’s “Summertime Sadness” and Ariana Grande’s “No Tears Left To Cry”.

Earlier this week, Miley Cyrus, who recently broke up with boyfriend Cody Simpson, recreated her iconic “Wrecking Ball” music video. During the sorta-live 2020 MTV’s VMAs Cyrus performed her new single “Midnight Sky,” swinging from a wrecking ball chandelier only with her badass mullet hairdo.
