Married At First Sight’s Dean Wells sent us all into a tizzy when he posted a photo of himself looking very coupley with The Bachelor’s Emma Roche.
In the photo, Dean has his arm tightly wrapped around Emma’s waist, as Emma’s hand rests on his. Combine that close pose with how smug in-love they both look, and people naturally assumed the two reality stars were dating.
Alas, Dean killed our vibe.

Taking to Instagram Wednesday night, Dean wrote: “If anything good ever came of reality TV it’s meeting this amazing human and sharing a glass of wine.”
LOADS of Dean’s former MAFS costars believed this to mean that their friend was in a new relationship.
We know we know, they haven’t exactly come right out and said ‘we’re dating’, but even though the pair are staying quiet it doesn’t seem Dean’s former MAFS castmates got the memo.
“Ohhhh yay!!! Congrats lovebirds,” Sarah Roza wrote alongside two love heart emojis.
However, it seems the pair really are ‘just friends’ after Dean wrote back on his former co-stars Melissa Walsh’s comment that congratulated him on his ‘new romance’: “ha thanks Mel. Emma and I are just good friends btw!”
“Not sure why everyone thinks were dating or whatever. All I said was that its great that I know her. Shes an awesome human!” Dean added.
Everyone thought you were dating Dean because YOU MADE IT LOOK LIKE THAT.
Mel later apologised for jumping to conclusions, writing: “Sorry I was also one to jump on the ‘love’ bandwagon!! I had a feeling it might have been a bit hasty lol. Anyhow that’s reality TV for you haha.”
Bummer, that was fun while it lasted.
