When she first met him, Martha Kalifatidis thought Michael Brunelli was a baby-faced suitor who may very well not suit her, but months later, the Married at First Sight couple have opened up to WHO about finding love, moving in together and building a family of their own.

“I thought he was 10 years younger than me!” Kalifatidis, 30, says of her first impression of her groom.
“But honestly, he just had this really kind energy. I was actually really scared to ask Michael how old he was. [He had] these really kind eyes. And he was smiling. He was lovely.”
So have they said those three words to each other?
“I texted you,” Kalifatidis reminded her husband when they appeared on Channel Nine’s Talking Married panel show. “I said it in a text. We were in bed.”
And what is it that they love most?
“For me, what I like about Michael most, is that he is always really poised and composed. Nothing ever really gets to him to the point where he explodes. I never see him lose
his cool,” the fiery Kalifatidis says of her PE teacher groom.
Meanwhile, for Brunelli, 27, it’s Kalifatidis’ ability to express herself that keeps him in awe of his new bride.
“Martha is honest, and she will say exactly what she is thinking. So I know what she is thinking at all times. There is no mask there.
“She asked on the wedding day, ‘Do you like me?’ And I didn’t expect that,” Brunelli reflects. “But that’s just who she is. And if she wants to know something, she is going to ask it. If she wants to tell me something, she is going to tell me, no matter what.”
Laughing, he assures WHO that he’s now off all dating apps including Tinder!
