If there was one couple on this season of Married At First Sight that seemed to have a stronger connection than anyone, it’s Matthew Bennett and Lauren Huntriss.
Especially since Matthew trusted Lauren enough to lose his virginity to her.
Now, months after the show finished filming, it seems like producers have banned them from contacting one another.
Yikes.
During The Kyle and Jackie O Show, a producer let out on-air that, “Something weird is happening.”
“We’ve been told that they are not allowed to talk to each other, Lauren and Matt. They used the word ‘banned’,” producer Sonia added.
Jackie O said, “Oh, maybe one of them has gone stage-five clinger?”
Earlier in the segment, she had said that “Ines [Basic] is freaking out because this is what happened to Davina [Rankin] last year.”
Kyle replied: “So, the ones we want to talk to all of a sudden are not available?”
His co-host added, “The virgin [Matthew] is not available either!”
So what happened?
WELL, maybe it has something to do with last night’s episode, where Lauren confessed to Matt that she used to be a lesbian.
“I used to be a lesbian,” admitted Lauren.
She left him completely speechless with her revelation.
“I don’t know what to ask now… I really don’t know,” Matt responded.
“I find asking questions really difficult, so for me the obvious solution was to just say nothing.”
His lack of response left Lauren pretty damn annoyed…
She said: “The fact that I have had feelings and relationships with girls definitely shocked Matt. He wouldn’t talk, he just shut down.”
“I’m not impressed to be honest, he should have a thousand things to ask me.”
Yikes. We guess those pregnancy rumours weren’t true then.
