Maddie Ziegler doesn’t just spend her days dancing away in Sia’s music videos. As incredible of a dancer she is, Maddie is breaking out into the acting world, and her very official movie is The Book of Henry.
In the movie, Maddie plays Christina, the girl who lives next door to the gifted 12-year-old Henry Carpenter (played by Jaeden Lieberher), and is also the step-daughter of the Police Commissioner.
The trailer for the film has finally dropped, and it even takes a dark turn when it is implied that Maddie (Christina) is abused by her step-father. Henry and his mother (played by Naomi Watts) try to help her.
Intense.
