Well, Disney+ has arrived and as predicted, people are losing their minds over the A++ content now available to them.
But nothing – we repeat, NOTHING – gets us quite as excited as the knowledge that Lizzie McGuire will be making her return next year.

We have received A LOT of information thus far, and we know that not only will the entire McGuire family be reprising their OG roles, but everyone’s favourite boy – the perpetually friend-zoned Gordo – will be back.
We also know that the Lizzie McGuire reboot will be set 15 years after the original when Lizzie is 30, and she’s engaged to a man (not Gordo) who owns a restaurant in SoHo, Manhattan.
Luckily for us, the stars of the show have been keeping us well informed with the hijinks of our gal Lizzie.

Yep, Gordo is back.
No news yet as to whether Miranda (AKA Lizzie’s bestie) will be making her comeback to the small screen, but we’re keeping all our fingers and toes crossed.
Hallie Todd, Robert Carradine and Jake Thomas will all be making their return as the McGuire fam.
Ok so, we have no idea why Lizzie is lugging around a giant toy alpaca but you can colour us intrigued!

Lizzie McGuire is expected to drop on Disney+ in 2020/2021.
