Remember back in 2015 when One Direction was feuding with Justin Bieber? Well, it turns out that amid all the shady posts on social media Liam Payne actually had to confront the Biebs in his trailer, in a bid to end the feud.

For those who need a gentle reminder of one of the biggest pop culture feuds of our time (no, we are not being dramatic) here is a quick summary of what went down.
Four years ago, Justin Bieber released his Purpose album on the exact same day as One Direction released their Made In the A.M. album on November 13.
In the weeks leading up to their release, the fandom were losing their damn minds with One Directioners and Beliebers engulfed in an all-out war on social media, arguing over who was the better artists.
Not to mention all the red hot rumours that Selena Gomez cheated on Justin with Zayn Malik.
Then Justin well and truly lit the feud on fire when he shaded One Direction on Snapchat, filming a video of himself saying: “That face you make when you come out with an album on the same day as Justin Bieber,” before making a “scared” face.
At the time, One Direction was insisting there was no feud, with a source telling HollywoodLife that the 1D boys found the video pretty funny.
“It’s kind of like an inside joke they have and will continue to play off of each other. The guys didn’t take it as a diss.”
Despite their best efforts to squash feud rumours, it turns out the boys and Justin were definitely at war at one time, and Liam felt like he had to step in and end it.
Speaking with MirrorOnline, Liam revealed that he had to confront Justin in his trailer in order to end the feud.
“Me and Justin had a really long chat once in his trailer,” Liam said.
“I went in to say to him: ‘It’s all good. You don’t need to do whatever.’ And then we had a really long chat, and he’s a really nice kid.”
In the same interview with MirrorOnline, Liam admitted that he doesn’t really speak to his ex-bandmates, except for Louis Tomlinson.
“I speak to Louis all the time. Louis is great. He’s doing really well.
“We’ve always had a good connection in the way that we were both trying to manage the band together. And that’s followed into life, and obviously he has been through a hell of a lot. So I’ve tried to be there for him as much as possible, and so does he me.”
