The only direction we’re going in is straight to Sydney’s Royal Randwick!
Liam Payne fans will be delighted to know that the former One Direction member will be in Australia in less than two weeks.
On Saturday, 13th October 2018, the dad-of-one will be at Sydney’s Royal Randwick, for an exclusive performance to close The Everest.
The news was confirmed to the Daily Telegraph.
“I’m a big fan of horse racing and to be performing at the TAB Everest is very exciting — I can’t wait to get down to Australia for it,” Liam said.
The 25-year-old, who is set to star in a West Side Story remake, will perform an exclusive 45-minute set after the races at Royal Randwick on October 13 in the Theatre of the Horse. It will be free for all ticket holders.
The Everest is Australia’s richest horse racing event – which has a total prize money of $13 million and a $430,000 trophy crafted by Sydney Jeweller Cerrone and encrusted with 8,000 diamonds.
12 horses will run over 1200m in a bid to win the prize.
