Riverdale star KJ Apa is the latest celeb to join TikTok! But not only are his videos a bit, er, strange, the name of his account doesn’t make sense either.
As of writing, the TikTok profile features four videos of the recently rugged and scruffy actor dancing and lipsyncing to some of TikTok’s iconic dance tracks—”Myself” by Bazzi, “Banana” by Conkarah ft Shaggy and “Stunnin’” by Curtis Waters ft Harm Franklin. In all of the clips, Apa doesn’t exactly do the ‘normal’ TikTok dances, but instead does his own thing, which includes erratic movements and a 2x speed-up.
It’s… a lot.
But the most bizarre thing is what he named his TikTok account: @fifiisqueen. Who is Fifi? Why is she queen? What does this all mean? Will we get to meet this “Fifi” and see Apa’s Riverdale costars in his videos? Is she who he’s talking to off-camera in a recent Instagram Story in his car where he confesses he “loves TikTok?” We need to know.
Then, the New Zealand actor shared this TikTok on his Instagram Story before confessing that TikTok has “taken over his life.”
“I hope everyone’s okay with that last video,” he said. “Something’s happened to me clearly and I can’t quite figure it out, but it seems like TikTok is actually taking over me.”
“I love TikTok,” he later said in a video recorded in his car. “I love it! I love it!”
In other news, KJ Apa recently shared a shirtless photo of him holding a tiny baby crab, and commented that “crabs can live up to 30 years… ”
