Katy Perry just revealed details about her upcoming fifth album… and NGL, we’re into it. Although, is this really that surprising coming from the girl who owns giant hand sanitiser and toilet paper roll costumes?
In an Instagram post shared earlier this morning, the “Roar” singer revealed she has a new album coming and it’s called Smile. In the post, Perry was seen in a cute blue and white patterned piece, light pastel pink wavy hair, cherry red lipstick and nail polish and a cheeky little red nose like a clown.
“I wrote the title track from the album when I was coming through one of the darkest periods of my life and had lost my smile,” Perry wrote in the Instagram post announcing the news. “This whole album is my journey towards the light—with stories of resilience, hope and love.”
The single and title track of Katy Perry’s upcoming fifth album, “Smile”, is out now on Spotify. The album, also called Smile, will release on the 14th of August.
