From their $10million lavish Italian wedding, $20million remodel of their Bel Air mansion and a $2million engagement ring, Kanye never spared any expense during their relationship.
So it’s little surprise that the larger-than-life rapper has wasted no time in spoiling his new girlfriend Julia Fox… and all her friends!
During Julia’s 32nd birthday celebrations at New York hotspot Lucien, Kanye gifted the Uncut Gems star and four of her friends Hermes Birkin bags – which start at a whopping $10,000.
“Ye flew into New York City for her birthday and then is flying back to LA to finish his new album,” a source close to the couple told Page Six.
Another insider claimed Kanye and Julia looked “very couple-y” as they arrived to the lavish party.
“He was all smiles. Her friends were also there. It was a big group,” they said.
A Kanye fan page on Instagram shared a snap of the rapper, Julia and her elated friends proudly posing with their brand new Birkin bags.
It’s estimated the sought-after bags by French fashion house Hermes are collectively worth between $85,000 and $100,000.
This isn’t Kanye’s first over-the-top gesture for Julia. Last month, after dating for just a few days, Kanye spoiled her with a hotel suite full of designer clothes.
“I’m still in shock. It was every girl’s dream come true. It felt like a real Cinderella moment,” Julia said of the surprise.
The mother-of-one spoke of her full wardrobe overhaul: “After meeting him, a couple days later, all my sh*t was in boxes, gone. It was so cathartic,” she told Interview Magazine.
“It wasn’t like I was just packing up my old clothes, it was like I was packing up my old life. I was like making that very conscious decision to really put everything in the box. To let go of the past.”
After the two met in Miami on New Year’s Eve, the pair shared an “instant connection” and they decided to “keep the energy going and fly back to New York City to see Slave Play.”
“His energy is so fun to be around. He had me and my friends laughing, dancing, and smiling all night,” Julia said of their whirlwind romance.
