Kaia Gerber is dating Fenton Merkell, another young model who happens to be the genetically blessed offspring of celebrity parents.
The couple reportedly met through their famous mothers, supermodel Cindy Crawford and EastEnders star Patsy Palmer.
Cindy befriended Patsy when her family relocated to America in 2014, after the actress wrapped up her stint on the hit British soap opera. No word yet on when exactly 16-year-old Kaia and 17-year-old Fenton transitioned from friends to dating, though The Sun reports they are happy in the new romance.
“It’s very early days but they have grown close and seem very happy together,” a source told the publication. “You wouldn’t think it likely for sunny LA and rainy Walford to mix together.”
“Fenton and Kaia have been close pals for a while through their mums’ friendship and in recent months it has grown into something more,” the source added
The couple have more than famous families in common, however, with both taking on the modeling industry in 2017. While Kaia is signed to IMG and has walked for the likes of Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent this year, Fenton recently signed to The Dragonfly Agency.
