Remember when the Internet collectively freaked out about Justin Bieber chowing down on a burrito sideways. Like, he was holding the burrito and biting directly into the centre, which is just insane in our opinion.
Multiple media outlets picked up the story and even Chrissy Teigen weighed in on Bieb’s burrito eating technique, writing “the only way they should be eaten tbh, ends are just carb factories.”
Lol.
We now know that this whole thing was in fact a stunt by a group of YouTubers called The Yes Theory and it wasn’t the real Bieber.
The YouTubers made a whole video explaining how they pulled off the ridiculous prank.
Apparently, the guys found Bieber’s lookalike in Canada – his name is Brad Sousa – and flew him out to Los Angeles. They went to extreme lengths to get the exact JB look for Brad, which included a blonde wig to mirror Bieber’s shaggy locks.
This hilarious event just shows how easy it is to make something go viral.
