It was recently announced that smash hit TV series Modern Family was renewed for seasons 9 and 10 and it is currently slated to end at its tenth season.
Now, the IRL Claire Dunphy, Julie Bowen has addressed the upcoming finale of the beloved series *sobs*.
“I love my fake children,” she told Us Weekly. “I love them so much. People say, ‘What are you going to do when Modern Family ends?’ And I’m like, ‘What are you going to do when your family ends?’ It’s not going to be easy.”
Her on-screen hubby Ty Burrell (Phil Dunphy) also spoke about the show’s ending in a recent interview with Haute Living Los Angeles.
“We’ll feel very proud of ourselves that we’ve made it through ten seasons but, at the same time, it’s going to be very sad,” he said.
“It will be a hard thing to say goodbye to the daily rhythm of seeing everyone’s faces, and just how fun and loving it’s been.”
