In the days following Jordyn Woods’ tell-all Red Table Talk interview with Jada Pinkett-Smith, the Internet is continuing to dissect every single minor detail that could possibly provide more detail as to what really unfolded. One thing everyone missed, though, could be a major hint as to what was going on between Tristan Thompson and Khloe Kardashian before Jordyn Woods became involved.
When Jordyn was explaining what was happening while she was at Tristan’s house, she said: “We’re all dancing and drinking. I’m not thinking, ‘I shouldn’t be here’,” she said. “And that’s my first step where I went wrong. And how would I feel if someone close to me is hanging at my ex’s house, the father of my child? I didn’t think about that. That’s the first part of the problem. I should have gone home after the party.”
Many picked up on the fact that Jordyn continually referred to Tristan as Khloe’s “ex”. Many believe this confirms Khloe and Tristan parted ways before the scandal.
Many thought the same thing.
In the episode, Woods took full responsibility for what happened between her and Tristan. And she apologised publicly to the family. But Woods said a lot about the entire saga that has dominated headlines for the last week.
Woods told her story: “I was drunk. I was not tipsy, I was drunk. But I was not beyond the point of recollection. I know where I was. But, on the way out [of Tristan’s house], he did kiss me. No passion, no nothing. On the way out he just kissed me. It was a kiss on the lips. No tongue kiss, no making out. Nothing. I don’t think he’s wrong either, because I allowed myself to be in this position.”
“I didn’t know how to feel. I was like, ‘That didn’t just happen,’ because I was leaving already so I walked out immediately after. And I got in the car and was like, ‘No, that didn’t happen,’ I [told him] I need to go. I was in shock.”
