We are SHOOK, we tell you. SHOOK!
*WARNING: THIS POST CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR S03E06 OF RIVERDALE*
During the latest episode of Riverdale, Jughead unveils a dead body… and it’s none other than Serpent Joaquin. AKA Kevin’s ex and the dude who shanked Archie in Juvie.
The episode, titled “Manhunter” was dramatic from the get-go, as Archie dumps Veronica over the phone, Betty scams all the parents into attending a reveal-all at the speakeasy and Jughead goes on a mission to find out why Joaquin betrayed Archie.
Jughead eventually finds Joaquin’s dead body at Sunnyside trailer park.
But WHO killed him, and WHY?
Well, before his death, Sweet Pea and Fangs find him with his new gang, the Gargoyles. He was apparently playing the game with the warden, and revealed that the branding he burned on Archie means “sacrifice”.
Since he and Archie ended up surviving, that sacrifice still needed to be made… as “the man in the black suit” had ordered.

Anyway, Joaquin eventually ends up with blue lips and the fandom is NOT okay.
