‘Harry Potter’ fan finds the most genius easter egg in new ‘Fantastic Beasts’

HOW didn't we notice this before?

There is a HUGE Harry Potter easter egg in the new Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, and as huge fans, we’re disappointed we didn’t notice this ourselves!

Reddit user jln_13 posted in r/HarryPotter saying: “OMG I JUST NOTICED. In this shot, Jacob is in the background, looking around and his expression denotes confusion. At first I was like: ‘Well, of course he is confused! It’s not every day that you get to see the magnificent castle of Hogwarts.’ Then I rewatched the trailer and I remembered: In the Goblet of Fire Hermione explains why magical schools have such a secrecy about their locations. She tells Harry that Hogwarts has a magical protection surrounding it, an illusion that makes muggles see some devastated scary ruins to keep them away.

“So while the wizards are in the front ready to storm in and accomplish whatever mission they have at Hogwarts, Jacob is in the back like ‘u guys the f*ck we doing here this place is scary smh'”.
