You know how we know this is a good week? There have been TWO Instagram updates.
#TheLifeOfAMillennial.
While we’ve caught wind of the fact that Insta is about to make their videos reach an hour limit (instead of one minute), we’ve also been informed about an incredible new feature to their Stories function.
Have you ever been out with friends, uploaded a cool Insta Story, only to see that your friend chose a better filter or just made it look better?
Well, you can either delete your crappy story and ask your friend to save and send you their photo/video – or be thankful that Instagram has listened to our struggles and made documenting our lives so much easier.
Starting from tomorrow, when somebody mentions you in their Story, the user will be able to share that photo or video in their own story!
You will receive a notification when someone mentions you in their story, and an option to add to your own story will appear! So simple.
The story will then turn into a sticker on your own story, where you can scale and position it. You can then of course add everything else on that you can already do.
Followers viewing your story will see the handle of the original story creator, as it will be tappable.
Sounds pretty nifty right?
