The show is headed by 24-year-old Zendaya, who plays non-binary teen Rue Bennett, who is struggling to balance school and her complicated life.

The first season, which came out in 2019, shocked the world with its explicit sex and drug-taking scenes.

The final episode left fans on a major cliffhanger, but thanks to a global pandemic, the resolution has been held off due to production delays.

For those who absolutely can’t wait to know even snippets about season two, Sydney Sweeney, who plays Cassie Howard, told Style Caster that audiences will be shocked.

“I can tease that when you ask about season 2, my heart drops. In a you-guys-have-no-idea-what-you’re-going-to-watch way. Cassie really needs to get her shit together. I can’t say anything else,” she told the publication.

The dark teaser trailer has already been released, and although it doesn’t give away much, it supports Sydney’s claim that the show is unmissable.
