‘I’m pretty honoured to be the first lady tradie on the show,’ Aimee says, and adds, ‘I want to show everyone that we can give it a crack just as much as the fellas.’
As well as being a plumber, ‘Aimee is part business owner of Tiny Stays, off the grid tiny houses which she builds with her brother and then rents out as short- term accommodation,’ while her hubby Kayne, ‘is a foreman for large commercial Mechanical Plumbing mob.’
‘We are a team that goes all out when it comes to design, we love being a bit quirky and thinking outside of the box. We very much believe go hard or go home!’
If you want an example of their can-do attitude, ‘Aimee once walked 600km solo to Canberra because someone told her she couldn’t,’ Kayne says.
While, ‘Kayne once came 2nd in a hand ball competition at the local fete,’ Aimee adds.
And while they say they have no experience with interior design, colour or patterns, they ‘can provide quality banter on site.’
