Look. We love Hilary Duff. A lot.
But her new movie The Haunting of Sharon Tate ain’t it. Sorry.
Hilary is depicting the model Sharon Tate – who was married to director Roman Polanski – leading to her murder in August 1969. The murder occurred in her Los Angeles home, while she was eight and half months pregnant.
Sharon was murdered by the followers of cult leader Charles Manson, which makes this story very real and very intense.
Unfortunately, Hilary doesn’t depict that at all. It’s all just a bit laughable. You can watch it here.
The accent. We can’t.
The movie has no release date yet, which might be a good thing.
Let’s just all wait for the Quentin Tarantino’s version – Once Upon a Time in Hollywood – which is based on the murder of Sharon, who will be played by Margot Robbie.
