Hilaria – the wife of actor Alec Balwin – took to Instagram to make the utterly heartbreaking announcement that she had lost her baby.
“We are very sad to share that today we learned that our baby passed away at 4 months. We also want you to know that even though we are not ok right now, we will be. We are so lucky with our 4 healthy babies—and we will never lose sight of this.”
“I told Carmen and took this so I could send it to Alec,” Hilaria continued.
“I guess this is a good way to share it with you too. I told her that this baby isn’t going to come after all…but we will try very hard to give her a little sister another time. I’m really devastated right now…I was not expecting this when I went to my scan today. I don’t know what else to say…I’m still in shock and don’t have this all quite clear. Please no paparazzi…that’s all I ask ❤️.”
Hailey, who is the daughter of Alec’s brother Stephen Baldwin, took to the comment section to show her love and support for her aunt and uncle.
“I’m so sorry. Love you guys ❤️” Hailey wrote.
The mother-of-four – who announced her pregnancy in Septemeber – also opened up about the tragedy on her Instagram Story, revealing that she would have to go through a dilation and curettage procedure, which is how doctors clear the uterine lining after a miscarriage or abortion.
“Today didn’t go as planned. I’m very sad,” she wrote alongside a photo of herself holding her belly.
“Tonight is my last night with her…such a strange experience.”
The devastating news comes after 35-year-old Hilaria revealed back in April she had suffer a misscarriage after her unborn cgilsd shshowed no signs of a heartbeat at its scan.
We are thinking of Alec and Hilaria during this tragic time ❤️
