Stop what you are doing right now and do a victory dance because Netflix’s Ginny & Georgia is officially returning for a second season.

This means we get to see Felix Mallard take on his gorgeous character, Marcus, and we are pretty sure we can handle his charms once more.
According to the press release published by Netflix, Ginny & Georgia attracted over 52 million people within the first 28 days after it premiered. This news isn’t just great for Felix fans but also for those of us who want more women crews in Hollywood because this show is one of the few to be run by an all-female creative team.
The series showrunners Debra J. Fisher and Sarah Lampert have spoken about how thrilled they are to be working on another season.
“We are so appreciative of the incredible response and love you all have shown Ginny & Georgia. We can’t wait to return to Wellsbury for season two,” Debra and Sarah shared in a statement.
To celebrate the news, Netflix posted a cute video of the cast sharing their gratitude and excitement for the new season.

Felix posted the video on his personal Instagram with the caption, “Buckle up, S2 is comin your WAY @gngbts @netflix.”
The show’s lead Antonia Gentry, who plays Ginny, also made a post to celebrate this exciting milestone.
“So….. the moment we’ve all been waiting for….thank you so much for the support and love and enthusiasm you all have shown to our show. it has really meant the world to me to see your funny comments and the kindness and positivity that has come out of this special series is more than i could have conceived. you are all so special, and I am excited that the characters you have grown so passionate about will get to continue their stories and development,” she wrote.
“This couldn’t have happened without you guys. we wouldn’t have broken records without you. thank you thank you thank you, see you soon! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️.”
The wildly popular Netflix show follows the life of mother-daughter duo Virginia “Ginny” Miller and Georgia as they try and establish themselves in their new town of New England. Georgia was just a teenager when she fell pregnant with Ginny and the pair’s dynamic is often more like sisters.
The premiere date is yet to be released but there will be ten episodes clocking in at 60 minutes for you to binge.
Until then, we are going to cosy up with our weighted blanket and an oat milk hot chocolate while we re-watch Ginny & Georgia season one.
