Well, we’ve known about it being made into a movie for years, but production has been incredibly slow.
But now, there’s an actual trailer that’s been released!
If our main gal Tessa looks familiar, it’s because she’s played by Katherine Langford’s sister, Josephine Langford!
As for Hardin, who has been hilariously modeled off Harry Styles… he’s played by Hero Fiennes-Tiffin. Yes, that’s Ralph Fiennes (Voldemort’s) nephew.
Look, we want to be excited about this movie, but it’s hard after the immense backlash it has continuously received.
The storyline is a huge glamourisation of domestic abuse, among other crazy themes that no relationship – let alone young adult relationship – should endure.
BUT, you bet we’ll still be watching it.
