In MY personal opinion, Aladdin is one of the best Disney movies of all time… so when I heard of the live-action remake I was PUMPED!
Now, seeing set photos of the cast has just made it so much more real, and you’re going to be obsessed with Abu the monkey.
Entertainment Weekly has unveiled the official images, giving us an amazing sneak peek at the complete cast in with costumes.
Will Smith (Genie), Naomi Scott (Jasmine), and Mena Massoud (Aladdin) were photographed for the cover.
Along with the amazing cover came a bunch of photos from the film, which is directed by Guy Ritchie.
However soon after the photos were released, fans voiced their concern on Twitter about why Genie isn’t blue.
WELL, Guy explained in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that movie doesn’t drop until May 24, 2019, and the film’s cast and crew are still working on completing the character of Genie.
In an Instagram post, Will Smith also assured fans that he’s “gonna be blue.”
