Hailey Bieber (née Baldwin) and Justin Bieber secretly wed in a civil ceremony in New York City last September, and since then fans have been questioning when and where their wedding ceremony will take place.
The couple, despite being legally married, is in the midst of planning a religious ceremony for their family and friends, which was originally meant to take place in January but was postponed.
Here’s everything we know about the couple’s big day.
Date
Hailey and Justin have sent their Save The Dates to close family and friends, Page Six reports. The couple has asked those closest to them to reserve February 28th, the outlet adds.
Planning is fully underway, an insider said, with the “wedding party being styled, dancers in rehearsals, and Justin’s personal DJ, Tay James, set to provide music” for the event.
Where
Several reports have claimed Justin and Hailey will wed in the singer’s home country of Canada. Hailey told The Cut that she has a wedding planner looking for a spot on the West Coast, despite speculation that she and Bieber may wed in Canada.
Guest list
“Justin and Hailey have been telling friends they want to have a smaller wedding, with close family and friends, nothing too over the top,” a source told ET just weeks after the couple tied the knot.
Bridal Party
Hailey confirmed to The Cut that she had asked older sister Alaia to be her bridesmaid. The 22-year-old model also hopes Bieber’s 10-year-old sister, Jazmyn, can be the flower girl.
The model’s aunt, Kim Basinger, previously teased that both Alaia and Ireland Baldwin – her daughter with Alec Baldwin and Hailey’s cousin – would be “in the wedding.”
“Oh, it’ll be fun. Alaia and Ireland, they’re in the wedding,” Basinger told Us Weekly. “So believe me, I just — it’s cool! I think it’s sweet. It’s a very sweet thing.”
Groomsmen
Post Malone told TMZ that he hopes to play a role in the wedding, whether it be performing or in the bridal party. “I would love to perform. For free. I’ll be the flower boy or is that the ring bearer? He’s very happy and I love to see my boy happy.”
Venue
Baldwin told The Cut of her ideal location, “I think having it in the woods would be so beautiful.”
Wherever Hailey and Justin’s ceremony ends up taking place, expect a lot of lighting. “I just picture lights strung everywhere,” she said.
