HBO’s EVP Programming Francesca Orsi said of the news: “We are so grateful that he chose HBO as the home for this groundbreaking series. We look forward to following these complex characters as their journeys continue through the challenging world they inhabit.”

To date, the hit series has received its fair share of criticism from TV watchdogs, parents and even former One Direction star Louis Tomlinson for its very graphic and explicit content.

Louis got involved when a very raunchy scene during its third episode involving both the 27-year-old English singer and former 1D band member Harry Styles.
