Look, it’s hard to pick a favourite character or side story in Stranger Things, because not only is the cast perfect but so is each and every plot line.
BUT, when it comes to Eleven and Mike, we’re complete stans.
In the show, the two pre-teens form an epic bond which absolutely destroyed us throughout season 2. Um, that reunion much?! We’ve never cried so hard.
So what’s the fate for them in season 3?!
WELL, as The Hollywood Reporter reports, Shawn Levy, (producer) has revealed on a panel at PaleyFest that Eleven (Millie Bobbie Brown) and Mike (Finn Wolfhard), as well as Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) and Max (Sadie Sink), will be in relationships.
“Mike and Eleven and are going strong, so that’s a relationship that continues, and same with Mad Max and Lucas,” said Levy. “But again, they’re like 13- or 14-year-old kids, so what does romance mean at that stage of life? It can never be simple and stable relationships and there’s fun to that instability.”
He also made all our dreams come true, admitting that Steve Harrington (Joe Keery) will have a larger role (daddy Steve deserves it). “We’ll definitely get to see some more of Steve Harrington in Season 3, and I’ll just say we won’t be abandoning the Dad Steve magic. I don’t want to say much more, but I literally feel that we were walking along and we stumbled onto a gold mine with Dad Steve.”
Absolutely correct.
Right now, there’s no confirmed date for when Stranger Things will return, but we do know it’ll probs be 2019.
